In line with the Company's current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work part of the week from our Crawley office and to work remotely for the rest of the week.PositionPosition: Full-time, permanentLocation: Crawley / HybridWe are seeking an experienced reporter to join the team and provide pioneering, engaging, insightful and thought-provoking articles and features in a variety of multimedia formats for NutraIngredients.com (NI). This role is key in affirming NI as the leading authority and point of reference for news, analysis and comment relevant to the nutrition, health and supplements industry.You will be part of the editorial team writing for NutraIngredients Europe and communicating with the global NI editorial team, with close connection to NI-USA and Editor-in-Chief (overseeing across US and Europe).What you’ll be doing:
  • Research and deliver daily compelling multimedia content for NutraIngredients' international B2B audience - including podcasts and videos
  • Actively use social media for lead sourcing, content sharing and contact building
  • Actively engage and develop relationships with key industry figures on both the retailer, manufacturer and supplier side.
  • Maintain record of industry contacts and sources in shared editorial database
  • Contribute ideas and coverage for NutraIngredients' brand extensions (special editions, online / F2F events, awards etc.) in collaboration with the NIE events and editorial teams.
  • Take on a chairing role for online events where appropriate.
  • Attend key industry trade events and conferences in Europe and occasionally beyond.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, event managers and other departments on any projects of potential benefit to NI within a framework of editorial integrity
RequirementsWhat you’ll need:
  • Trained journalist with experience in B2B
  • Comfortable with producing digital media and speaking on-camera
  • Strong business sense with excellent networking and interpersonal skills
  • Good diplomacy skills
  • Solid knowledge of social media channels
  • Highly collaborative
  • Imaginative and strong sense of initiative
  • Well organised and ability to prioritise effectively
