- Responsible for compliance with existing policies and processes but also for the development of other procedures for the confidentiality of our programs.
- Provide data privacy advice and review relevant Supplier/ Customer Contract.
- Handle enquiries from data subjects on issues relating to data privacy practices, particularly on the exercise of data subjects' rights such as withdrawal of consent, the right to be forgotten, and other related rights.
- Consult on personal data incidents, including advising on data breach notifications, resolutions, and remedial actions.
- Prepare the roll out of Allianz Data Privacy Trainings at the local entity, track the completion rate and support for issues relating training to ensure an adequate level of privacy knowledge and awareness.
- Develop, prepare and roll out Data Privacy awareness campaigns for the local entity to ensure an adequate level of privacy knowledge and awareness.
- Initiate and perform Privacy assessments (Data Register & Privacy Impact Assessments).
- Implement the requirements “Allianz Technology Data Privacy Control Framework“ at local level.
- It is responsible for all the deficiencies resulting from the development of its activity, as a result of its own decisions.
- Participate in reporting to company management.
- Represent the local entity in the relationship with local Data Privacy Supervisory Authority.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in data privacy, risk management, internal control, or compliance.
- Solid understanding and expertise with complex regulatory framework and requirements, particularly in Data Protection (GDPR) and security systems (ISO).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with risk analysis and controls frameworks.
- Data Privacy Certifications (IAPP) would be a plus.
- Proven command of the English and German language, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey compliance and corporate governance issues effectively.
- Awareness of the business impact, the need for, and justification of compliance and corporate governance.
- Ability to quickly grasp and process complex relationships in a way that is appropriate for the addressee.
- Integrity, impartiality, responsibility, and confidentiality.
- Academic background or degree in economics, legal, or similar disciplines.
