DWB Engineering is looking for a Civil Project Engineer/Manager to join their expanding team.This exciting role is designed to be an integral part of an upcoming project engineering consultancy and provide the right candidate with a great work life balance and opportunity to create their perfect working week. We are an equal opportunity employer and seek the best fit candidate for this exciting and dynamic role.The successful candidate will be working on projects in the civil infrastructure construction sector. The role is predominately performed in Geelong however, we are offering the flexible working via negotiation arrangement. All working arrangements will be considered; Full-time, part-time, casual etc we are just interested in finding the right candidate for the role who fits the culture of our existing team and vision. There is some additional onsite work that will require early morning visits from time to time dependent on project requirements.The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills. A sense of pride in maintaining complete and transparent documentation, contracts, and programs with a huge focus on quality and safety. Each project will require outstanding attention to detail, reporting weekly on all financial aspects and updates on the projects to the Managing Director & clients.An excellent ability to liaise with all stakeholders of the business, supervise the contractors and the willingness to train other members of the team is a must. There will be some networking opportunities throughout the year, and it is required that you will attend these events. Only candidates with excellent written and communication skills will be considered.What you will need to have:
A degree in Civil Engineering
Able to price jobs using first principles methodology
Experience in civil construction
Registered on the NER
4+ years' experience
Current Drivers Licence
Current First Aid Certificate
An experienced senior Engineer looking for a flexible role will be considered provided the right cultural fitAlthough not essential, the desired additional skills are:
