- Manage, plan and run the Foundation team members.
- Monitor and adhere to established budgetary guidelines for the job and ensure that cost control measures are followed
- Monitor job safety and provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel
- Monitor quality standards and ensure that technical specifications are being met
- Assist with developing entire job schedules, 90-day schedules, and three-week schedules
- Monitor job schedule, coordinate work with contractors and deliveries with suppliers, and ensure inspections are scheduled appropriately
- Advise senior-level superintendents and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc
- Be HANDS ON.
- Work as part of a team to perform Helical Pile installation and other foundation type work.
- Work in a manner that supports the company's customer service goals
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
- Complete tasks in an organized, methodical, and clean manner
- Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given task
- Follow all company policies, safety rules and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Assemble items as instructed
- Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually or machine-assisted
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation, preferably a truck or a van
- A strong technical and practical background in specialty foundations and geotechnical construction is required
- 3+ years of experience in the planning, scheduling, and management of deep foundation and/or ground improvement operations
- Experience with and broad knowledge of foundation/ground improvement equipment.
- Understanding of foundation systems, including piers and piles.
- Must be able to read and interpret plans, and possess a high level of comfort working with numbers
- Experience working in a team setting and directing/reviewing the work of others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, BIM360.
- High School Diploma / GED - Required
- Proven prior construction or carpentry experience
- Meticulous attention to detail to follow precise plans. Must know how to read drawings and translate into actual plans and work.
- Measuring skills to take accurate, precise measurements of materials to follow shop drawings
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment
- Must be able to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stand for long periods of time
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Written and verbal communications in English
