Job Title: Science TeacherJob Location: BristolJob Salary: £30,863 - £47,182 per annumJob Contract: Full time, permanentTeaching Personnel Permanent Workforce are currently working alongside an Academy who are seeking a Science Teacher to join a Secondary School located in Weston-Super-Mare, to start in September 2024 or sooner. You will be responsible for teaching GCSE General Science to High School students, working as part of a dedicated team within the department, and working alongside the Head(s) of Department to develop and improve the curriculum for students.Job Role:

You will be required to teach GCSE Science to students aged 11 - 16

Provide 1:1 support to students as and where needed

Liaise with the Head of Department regarding creative ways to develop the curriculum

Provide constructive feedback to students following exams/tests

Job Requirements:

UK recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) with QTS

Prior experience teaching Science at GCSE level

Minimum Bachelors Degree within the subject

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or no prior cautions or convictions
