Offer DescriptionModelling the ionic conductivity of halide-type solid electrolyte materials according to their composition, local disorder and defects.- Build model structures representative of halide-type materials with the general chemical formula Li3MX6 (M = trivalent cation, X = halogen), exhibiting various stoichiometries, local order, defects, etc.
Study the impact of stoichiometry, disorder and defects on the ionic conductivity of lithium ions using ab initio calculations (NEB method) or molecular dynamics (AIMD or classical dynamics).
- Compare the results with experimental data based on studies carried out using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance or impedance spectroscopy.
- Establish the composition-structure-property link for this system.Created in 1995, the Bordeaux Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry (ICMCB) focuses its research on Solid State Chemistry, Materials Science and Chemistry and Process: designing, preparing, shaping and characterizing materials in order to discover, control and optimize specific functions.
