- Own and drive relationships with Microsoft customers.
- Grow share of wallet within these customers of primarily Microsoft products.
- Identify and develop new revenue streams.
- Provide weekly sales forecast to management.
- Provide input to the product team regarding stock holding.
- Work with reseller partners to devise Microsoft growth strategies and implement these strategies.
- Market products and manage the sales process.
- Identify and implement market strategies.
- Disseminate product information.
- Position vendor product set.
- Continuously keep up to date with market knowledge of competitive brands.
- Keep abreast of latest technology.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Deliver product presentations and entertain clients.
- Full time Office Based.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Previous sales experience within the ICT Distribution industry will be an advantage
- Knowledge of the IT market, reseller channels, marketing, and promotional strategies is essential.
- Understanding of the IT industry and OEM channel.
- Needs to have Microsoft Experience not NEG.
- Proven track record of sales success (preferably within the ICT Distribution industry)
- Previous experience selling and working with customers at all levels of an organization including high-profile customers.
- Experience in identifying sales opportunities and using skill set to develop solutions.
- Working experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience preparing and presenting quotations.
- Experience developing sales plans and closing deals.
- Market knowledge of competitive brands.
- Knowledge of roadmaps and product life cycles.
- Skills and Education:
- Matric, with mathematics is essential.
- A tertiary qualification and/or a relevant diploma in Sales, Marketing, or IT will be an advantage.
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proven sales skills and ability.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
- Good sales presentation skills.
- Able to complete basic calculations (ability to work with numbers)
- Organized individual who is deadline-driven with good time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Developed negotiation skills.
