We are seeking a talented Data Analyst/Business Intelligence (BI) professional to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to support strategic initiatives. As a Data Analyst/BI, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to help guide business strategies and optimize performance. Responsibilities: Data Collection and Analysis: · Gather and compile data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other systems. · Perform thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data. Business Intelligence Reporting: · Develop and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present key findings to stakeholders. · Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth. Data Interpretation and Insights: · Interpret complex data sets and translate findings into understandable insights and recommendations. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate insights and facilitate data-driven discussions. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and identify areas for improvement. · Work closely with stakeholders to develop strategies for optimizing business processes and driving efficiency. Data Quality Assurance: · Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through regular data validation and quality assurance processes. · Identify and address data anomalies or discrepancies to maintain data reliability. Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects: · Conduct ad hoc analysis and support special projects as requested by management or other stakeholders. · Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, market research, and business development efforts. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science/Math/Engineering/Physics · Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role. · Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle). · Excel proficiency, experience with Macros and data modelling · Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. · Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. · Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques is a plus.
