Junior Mechatronic/Electrical design EngineerResponsibilities of the Role:Drafting Key Single Line and electrical diagrams.Drafting Tender Specification Documents for electrical cabling and power distributionManaging Subcontractors during site installationsIn charge of managing the design of instrumentation and control systems.In charge of managing the design of power distribution and electrical infrastructureAn understanding of electrical infrastructure and components (including transformers, generators, low-voltage-distribution boards etc.)An understanding of MCC panel design, and associated components for control of motors on site (Variable speed drives, motor control circuits).An understanding of cable sizing, cable selection and good practice regarding cable installation.Review of panel designs and electrical drawings (supplied by contractors).Understanding of ATEX zones and the implications on selection of instruments and motors.Qualifications and Experience:Degree in Electrical or mechatronics EngineeringJunior mechatronics/Electrical Engineer with no to little experience.Must have excellent Communication SkillsMust be willing to travel overseas.Must have a good understanding or interest in Industrial Automation (MCC, VSD's, PLC’s, Switchgear and Integrated Solutions)
