- Leads the execution of NSA’s Supplier Management & Sourcing operations and strategy.
- Develop, negotiate and drive management of supplier agreements and performance standards to include terms, pricing, rebates, stocking programs and other subjects with key suppliers.
- Hire, develop and lead a strong team through positive employee engagement and effective talent management.
- Drives accountability through Supplier Management organization to ensure supplier operational standards are met or exceeded, to include certification, performance, quality assurance and compliance.
- Direct the forecasting process and coordinate the production schedules of our global suppliers, to ensure proper inventory levels and timely delivery on our production scheduled and to customers.
- Manage the costing of all finished goods purchased abroad, including labor, trims/production supplies, duties, and freight.
- Directly responsible for maintaining procurement practices to support accurate and appropriate inventories of raw materials and purchased finished goods.
- Lead the team supporting indirect purchasing & sourcing for all NSA facilities, including MRO / Facilities Management functions, OEM / Manufacturing Maintenance functions and capital purchases.
- Lead the development and on-going maintenance / productions of critical reporting and analytics for Planning, to include supplier forecasting, supplier scorecards, purchase trends and seasonal analysis.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Organizational Management, or other relevant field of study.
- Master’s or other advanced degree in related field a plus.
- 7- 10 years functional experience in managing external supplier relationships and / or procurement in a Supply Chain driven organization.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and functionality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Purchase Planning and Forecasting.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to build strong, cohesive, high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the company. Strong negotiation skills.
- Functional expertise in Inventory Management / Supply Chain.
- Initiative and ability to identify, prioritize, build plans and deliver business results.
- Demonstrated success working with and through cross-functional teams.
