This critical role involves establishing compliance processes with your team and implementing a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area.What you will be doing:Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.Identifying test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan (Test Strategy/Test Plan)Be on Client site as required to provide guidance and assistance, working closely with the FIS Project Team and ClientsDeveloping, documenting and maintaining the functional test cases and other test artefacts like the test data, data validation and harness scriptsDeveloping, maintaining and upgrading manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plansExecuting and evaluating manual or automated test cases and report test resultsPerforming usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and securityProviding internal quality assuranceOrganizing and maintaining the test script libraryWorking closely with technical and non technical resources for quality of delivery and ensure all outputs are aligned with key project success metricsEffectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written formsAssisting in the release process and with improving and automating the processHolding and facilitating test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team membersIdentifying any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to managementEnsuring that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirementsIsolating, replicating and reporting defects and verifying defect fixesComplying with all FIS policies and proceduresOther related duties assigned as needed.What you will need:At least 5 years of background with software testing for Banking and Payments clientsMust have background with transaction switching or Payments Testing experience (eftpos, card schemes MCard etc.) and has worked with Banking and Payments Industry.Experience in testing using stubs and simulatorsExperience in Schemes Certification testingProficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies.

A bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related discipline, or the equivalent experience

Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individualsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingTeam skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externallyOrganizational and time management skillsTo be a self-starter with proven ability to work independentlyAdded bonus if you have:Experience in the following Applications: IST/Merchant Account & Settlement (MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex &/or Webpay/DigipayExperience in the following Tools/Sims: Test Rail, Jira, FINsimBackground working with Australian clients is a big plusISTQB Foundation Software Testing certificationKnowledge of network message standards - AS2805 or ISO standardsWhat we offer you:At FIS, we hire the best.
