Job SummaryThis role will report directly to the Head of Business Management, Transaction Banking and matrix to the Global Head, TB FI Sales.This role will provide representation for the Global Head, TB FI Sales in collectively achieving Transaction Banking goals, and will support delivery and growth of the TB FI business performance, drive the TB FI Sales people agenda, ensure delivery against strategy & support resolution of critical business issues.The role holder will have a big picture mindset, strong data and problem-solving skills and ability to challenge ideas and develop solutions. The role is inherently varied and reflects the changing demands and responsibilities of the Global Head, TB FI Sales, therefore the role holder must be adaptable and able to manage across priorities.Responsibilities
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Global Head, TB FI Sales, facilitating engagement, communication, challenge, and alignment.
  • Support the Global Head, TB FI Sales in understanding and overseeing the various initiatives and activities underway across TB FI Sales globally, challenging outputs where required, and keeping them abreast of updates.
  • Provide decision facilitation for the Head Global Head, TB FI Sales, whilst reconciling business challenges in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy of all materials produced for the attention of the Global Head, TB FI Sales, providing review, challenge and follow-up.
  • Deliver against key priorities for the TB FI business, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across CCIB, and accurate representation of TB FI Sales at the TBMT.
  • Responsible for preparations for all MT meetings and committees, ensuring data analysis and materials highlight key matters and enable decisions.
  • Support the collective delivery of the TB FI agenda, across revenue and cost targets, people initiatives and overall strategic goals.
  • Support budgeting, HC planning and delivery against financial and capital commitments throughout the financial year. This will include data analysis and presenting detailed recommendations and scenario planning.
  • Coordinate and support business engagements with other teams / partners across TB, CCIB and CPBB.
  • Lead the design and delivery of Global TB FI Team meetings, ensuring effective meeting agendas and facilitation.
  • Handle sensitive information, ensuring effective response and resolution.
  • Coordinate specific people plan projects/ initiatives for TB FI Sales teams, in partnership with the Head of Business Management for TB and the TB HR Business Partner.
Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with management across Coverage FI Teams to ensure a standard approach to issue resolution, handling initiatives and driving change.
  • Work closely with Group and Regional stakeholders across BPMs, COOs, CFOs, Strategy, Enablement and HR for activities and performance tracking linked to revenue & cost targets, investment requirements, product & client strategy, risk management, marketing and people priorities.
  • Work closely with Product, Operations, CFCC, Legal, and other teams as required.
  • Engage with internal & external stakeholders where appropriate to ensure TB initiatives are fit for purpose in delivering our aspiration in the TB FI business.
