- Carrying out building investigations and analysis utilising a range of techniques. This is a physically active role and may include working at heights, utilising ladders and potentially scaffolding and inspecting small confined spaces
- Preparing reports with the necessary background research and remedial recommendations, illustrated with photographs, sketch details and CAD plans
- Providing high quality, professional and timely advice to clients relating to building defects, material condition and performance
- Attending meetings with clients, their design teams and consultants
- Following established company procedures and protocols and assisting in the development of new systems to ensure that the company's quality standards are maintained and enhanced
- Undertaking personal training and development, as discussed with Directors
- Ensuring confidentiality at all times in all matters relating to any work or communication with the company and clients
- Have a variety of UK construction experience and proven knowledge of design and procurement
- Have a professional, organised and thorough approach to work which demonstrates an attention to detail
- Have the ability to take initiative in identifying and undertaking work that needs to be carried out
- Possess an inquisitive approach to learning and work
- Have experience of hands on, practical learning
- Be comfortable working within a team or independently
- High standards of written and spoken English
- Have a Bachelors or Master's Degree in a field relevant to the construction industry and built environment
- Have achieved or be working towards Chartered Membership of the RIBA, RICS or other professional institutions
- Knowledge of site operations and management processes
- Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft 365
