Offer DescriptionThe candidate must have a doctoral degree obtained no more than 7 (seven) years ago, preferably in the area of Food Engineering or related fields. Previous knowledge of experimental planning, computational process simulation and Python programming language is desirable.The scholarship holder will develop an algorithm for optimizing the extraction of oils from Brazil nut cake (Bertholletia excelsa) in a fixed bed column. The algorithm will be developed in Python. To validate the code, it will be necessary to carry out some extraction experiments using ethanol as the solvent. The selected postdoc will join a research project funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the Stae University of Campinas's Food Engineering Faculty (FEA-UNICAMP) in Brazil.The candidate should send an email to with their Curriculum Summary in the , indicating their experience in the required topics and highlighting their publications in indexed scientific journals, patents and other activities related to the project area.
