- Previous experience of Workday would be ideal
- Essential: GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent
- Experience of working in HR or office manager type role is preferred
- Strong administration background – organization and attention to detail
- Experience of managing events is essential
- Experience of working with the full range of employee lifecycle processes is preferred
- Proven experience of data input e.g. payroll administration
- Previous experience of using a HR Information System is preferred, ideally iTrent and Workday
- Working knowledge of MS Word (mail merge), Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Supporting payroll administration, jointly, with other administrators
- Creating letters to employees to reflect changes in terms and conditions, such as promotions and job changes
- Support queries relating to the Village, such as how to log on, Workday ID numbers, where to go for support
- First point of contact for transactional HR queries
- Providing cover for HR Administrator colleagues, ensuring seamless service to the business
- Assist with the management of Occupational Health services and associated providers i.e. booking OH appointments and arranging drug and alcohol testing
- Suggesting and implementing HR process improvements. This includes process mapping, developing tools and documentation. Keeping the admin process guide up to date.
- Participating in HR projects, e.g. organizing annual events such as Shining Star Awards, Long Service Awards
- Policy and Process development and any other relevant project HR are undertaking.
- Become a Workday super-users – support line managers in the business with their Workday actions, running basic standard reports
- Providing references for current and former-employees in line with company policy. This will include employment, rent/mortgage references
- Ensuring ‘right to work’ status by regular checking for all employees with visas in line with current guidance
- Carrying out HR housekeeping as directed by HR leadership team – this includes filing of confidential documents in line with GDPR regulations
- Providing general administrative support to the HR team such as raising purchase orders
- Manage mailshots – mail merge letters, putting into envelopes and liaising with the post room
- With the other HR administrators, manage the HR mailboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Administering maternity and paternity cases (family friendly cases)
- Keep HR intranet pages up to date
