We are looking for a Head of Mathematics & Statistics for a bilingual school based in Changzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.About the SchoolThis school is already widely recognized as one of the best schools in the world and is fast developing into a top school in China. It offers the best of British and Chinese education in an English-speaking environment preparing pupils to enter leading universities. Most pupils go to either UK or US universities.About the roleThe Head of Mathematics & Statistics will spearhead our Mathematics and Statistics Department, driving curriculum development, teaching, and assessment strategies to elevate the school's standards of mathematical education. This role involves leading a team of talented educators, fostering an environment of critical thinking and analytical skills development, and collaborating with other departments to integrate mathematics and statistics across the curriculum.Requirements

A strong academic and professional background in mathematics and statistics, with a proven track record of leadership in an educational setting
Demonstrated excellence in curriculum development and educational innovation
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a dynamic, engaging learning environment
Ability to mentor and inspire both staff and students to achieve their full potential
