I'm partnered with the CFO at a $200M, entrepreneurial medical device company located near Hoffman Estates, IL. This client is a market leader in their space and is looking to double in size over the few years. With exciting new products set to launch in the near future, it is the perfect time to join as the Senior Financial Analyst and capitalize on the growth!Reporting into the Finance Manager with high visibility to the CFO, you will be responsible for partnering with the cross-functional teams to assist in the overall profitability of the business. Day-to-day will include forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and more. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will have opportunities to gain any/all exposure to the business and be able to advance your career further quickly!Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate the performance of product lines, regions, and channels. Utilize financial models and tools to assess sales trends, pricing strategies, and profitability metrics.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Work closely with business partners to understand drivers of variance and provide insights to improve accuracy and decision-making.
  • Analyze sales data to track performance against targets, identify areas of opportunity, and recommend strategies to enhance revenue growth and market share.
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial information and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Generate and present regular financial reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas of opportunity or concern.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify emerging opportunities and threats. Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for business strategy.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align financial objectives with business strategies. Provide financial insights and support decision-making processes to drive business results.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights. Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support long-term planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial performance against key business metrics.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Strong business communication and analytic skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
