Responsibilities:
- Works on month-end closing activities and prepares financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss, and other accounting statements.
- Prepares and maintains records of general ledger accounts, journal entries bookings, reconciles all accounts and investigates reconciling items.
- Maintains compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., U.S. GAAP, SOX, and local regulations).
- Drives US and statutory accounting GAAP compliance, conversant in IFRS and US GAAP and the impacts to statutory accounting.
- Collaborates with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders across geographies.
- Responsible for all statutory filings (annual accounts, direct and indirect tax returns, statistics, etc.), and coordinating the approach with external service providers.
- Contributes to innovation ideas.
- Participates in projects and company initiatives, process improvements and ad hoc assignments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional qualifications (eg, ACCA/CPA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experiences, preferably in an accounting firm and/or MNC.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing will be an added advantage.
- Experienced user of Oracle ERP and conversant in Microsoft Office applications with strong capability in BI tools (such as PowerBI, Power Query, Power Pivot) is added advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Conversant in Mandarin language is an added advantage to support China region.
- Proven experience in supporting cross-functional teams and drive efficiencies.

- Good time and workload management, able to meet strict deadlines with high quality output.
