ROV Operations Graduate Engineer

- ROV Department Standard Operating Procedures/Documentation Review.
- Introduction to ROV Systems & ROV Simulator experience (By one of our in house dedicated ROV Trainers), to give a broad overview of our ROVs/equipment.
- Assigned to and mentored by multiple Senior Engineers, who will provide one to one support - and to assist manage daily activities.
- Provide an overview and involvement in each element within ROV Ops/Engineering role and set tasks/goals accordingly. This will include:
- ROV Methods Engineering, and Day to Day support
- ROV Structural Engineering
- ROV Tooling Design
- Assistance towards ROV Project Managers
- An opportunity to spend approx. 4 weeks offshore onboard a ROV worksite, on minimum 2 separate rotations per year. We will ensure the following is also included:
- All necessary/mandatory Basic Training (Medical/FOET, Hydraulic & Electrical/General online safety courses)
- Assigned to ROV Worksite with 2 x ROV & nominal 13 x Crew, to be used as an 'Assistant' to the ROV Supt/ROV Team.
- Assist with the preparation of Worksite specific Documentation/Task plans & JSA/Risk assessments.
- Any General worksite duties as deemed suitable by the ROV Supt.
- Graduate with University Degree in Engineering, or similar technical discipline
- Solid knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, with an interest in problem-solving and design
- Analytical skills
- Report-writing skills
- Good communicator
- Interest in offshore and subsea operations
- Microsoft Office Applications
- AutoCAD, d Modelling (e.g inventor)
- Mathcad, or equivalent
