- Plan and deliver engaging English Literature and Language lessons.
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
- Liaise with parents, staff, and students, and maintain a good relationship with all parties.
- Manage high levels of student attainment through strong leadership and supervision.
- To continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Degree in English.
- Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students to think critically.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide a differentiated learning experience that ensures all students make progress.
- Engage students in a manner that will challenge them to grow and learn.
- Have a proven track record of improving attainment levels at GCSE for English Literature and Language.
- Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
