It is the responsibility of the Mechanic to ensure company standards within all appropriate laws and regulations are maintained.What you’ll doServicing vehicles in line with manufacturers’ specifications and company standards, including carrying out minor repairs and preventative maintenance checks on fleet vehicles (e.g. replacing fluids, changing oil/air filter, tyres, brakes, fitting ski racks etc.) including cars, trucks and company fleetMonitor inventory and request the order of new parts from Service Administrator Assemble mechanical components according to specificationsPerform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problemsProvide assistance to Trade Assistant when requiredComplete Repair OrdersProviding breakdown assistance when necessaryPreparing vehicles for handback and sales.Testing and general servicing of workshop equipment for safety.Keeping accurate and on-time job records and recording servicing history in applicable systemsConducting work in a safe manner, complying with Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental policies, procedures and being familiar with emergency evacuation procedures to eliminate or minimise workplace health and safety risks.
