Atrium Healthcare are recruiting on behalf of a client for Residential Children's Support Worker. You'll be working hands-on day in day out with the young people living in the children's home.For some young people, the behaviors caused by the trauma they have previously experienced means it is too risky for them to live with others. Children's homes offer these individuals - who often have nowhere else to go - a home.You'll work with a tight-knit team of colleagues to build a relationship and trust bond with the young person living at the home. You'll be supporting them in overcoming their previous trauma and learning to trust in adults again, along with the help and guidance of your colleagues and therapeutic services.You'll be patient, thrive in a team environment, able to support those around you and have the emotional intelligence and resilience to manage challenging situations.Essential:·NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
·Having the use of a car, a full driving license.Salary:The current full-time rate for this post is £21,821 - £22,433.
Maximum full time job rate potential is £23,264 per annum which is performance related.
Regular sleep-in duties required, paid at an additional £60.71 per night.Hours of work:The service supports two young people. There are two staff sleeping in per night, each with their own room. You will work two 24 hour shifts per week, 10am to 11pm, sleep 11pm to 7am, then work 7am to 10.30am.Benefits include:·A competitive salary.
