- Assessing the regional hotel market mix and developing forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.
- Implementing strategies to enhance group turnover and fulfill banqueting requests.
- Orchestrating commercial campaigns aimed at boosting room reservations and optimizing revenue streams.
- Effectively communicating Revenue Management standards and objectives to ensure alignment across departments.
- Formulating short, medium, and long-term strategies to drive the hotels commercial success.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to the commercial team to foster their professional development.
- Spearheading the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Participating in monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) calls and coordinating Business Revenue Meetings.
- Devising initiatives to augment turnover related to room reservations, group bookings, and Food & Beverage services.
- Engaging in strategic key account management from acquisition to execution, and cultivating potential client relationships.
- Coordinating client events and cultivating a proactive sales team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Monitoring bookings in systems, analyzing market data, and liaising with external service providers to optimize performance.
- Developing short and long-term E-commerce strategies to enhance online revenue generation.
- Providing regular reports and updates to the General Manager and Headquarters to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Upholding the group identity and ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Supporting the Marketing Coordinator in managing social media channels and the local website.
- Assisting the Marketing Coordinator in preparing presentation materials and marketing collateral.
- Proactive, results-oriented individual capable of making well-informed decisions independently.
- Proficiency in corporate contacts and familiarity with yield/reservation systems.
- Experience in developing pricing structures, utilizing banqueting systems, and managing demand calendars.
- Education in Commercial Management or Hotel School.
- Previous experience in the hotel industry.
- Extensive background in commercial activities.
- Strong leadership abilities and adept at building external relationships.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English.
- Proficiency in conducting critical analyses.
- Negotiation skills in securing MICE business across diverse sectors
