This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller, reporting directly into the Finance Director, to join a luxury retail company. This role is based in London and will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office. Financial Controller Responsibilities: Support the Finance Director in the achievement of Finance Department goalsSupport and develop the business decision making process with proactive financial and commercial due diligenceManage the monthly management accounts cycleManage year end processes including statutory accounting requirementsManage year end audit with external auditors for all entitiesOwn the coordination and preparation of annual budgets and reforecastsPrepare financials for the 3/5 year planFinancial Controller Experience & skills required / preferredCIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified - essentialExperience with full ownership of the month end and year end close of the books process - essentialAdvanced Excel skills - essentialRetail industry background, preferably with a multi-site, multi-channel organisation - essentialExcellent Excel skills - essentialKnowledge of SAP financial module is idealSelf-starter, ability to work under own initiativeAbility to manage and develop a small teamAbility to partner with non-finance functionsRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
