- Carrying out a variety of surveys before a company takes a lease on a building. This can include Due Diligence surveys, Pre-Acquisition surveys, Schedules of Condition.
- Advising on the extent of the financial liability in occupying a building and advising on how this can be minimised as part of a Planned Preventative Maintenance exercise.
- Valuing the cost of reinstatement of a building, to make sure that the owner has sufficient insurance cover in the event of fire or collapse.
- Project managing refurbishment of a variety of buildings, Allowing the buildings to be re-let as quickly as possible to minimise lost rental revenue for the client.
- Protecting a tenant when they are about to leave a building, ensuring that a reasonable level of damages or reinstatement is agreed upon with the landlord.
- Protecting a landlord when a tenant is leaving a building, ensuring that the building is reinstated, or a level of damages agreed in accordance with the lease requirements.
- Making sure that new build and refurbishment schemes are built in accordance with the scope of works in terms of quality and workmanship and compliance with Licences to Alter.
- Assist with business development and achieving team and personal financial targets.
- Progression of client relations and onboarding.
- Acting as mentor for graduate members of the team.
- Show leadership with team members in achieving goals.
- Ensuring that quality assurance is maintained for all output documents.
- A chartered Building Surveyor, looking to work with one of the country's leading commercial property consultancies
