Job DescriptionYamaha has an excellent opportunity for a P&A Sales Planner II to join our team in Marietta, GA. The P&A Sales Manager will work with the P&A Sales Planning Manager and is responsible for co-developing wholesale P&A sales promotions as well as tracking and managing the P&A discount budget. They will be responsible for tracking and reporting on Parts & Accessories monthly wholesale results. The P&A Sales Planner II will also assist with short & mid-term sales planning (i.e., sales budget, revised budget and MTP forecasting). They will work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and the P&A Sales Forecasting Analyst. The P&A Sales Planner II will also handle communication to the Field Sales & Dealers related to the above responsibilities (YDS, WEBEX, Field Meetings, YMU, etc.) They will also support the development of fit-up rations for new accessories for new models.What you’ll be doing:
  • Analyze, create, implement, and monitor P&A wholesale programs, discounts, and dealer marketing to achieve sales budget P&L goals. Track and ensure wholesale incentives stay within budget.
  • Work with the P&A Product Line Manager, Field Sales team (especially RPM’s), Supply Chain Management, and Business Planning. Gather, track, and be a subject matter expert on competitive wholesale/retail and dealer marketing programs. Communicate programs to Field Sales/dealers (i.e., co-draft and edit YDS bulletins, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
  • In conjunction with the P&A Sales Planning Manager, P&A Product Line Manager, and Dealer Network Strategy Manager, work to co-develop P&A dealer retail strategy and programs (i.e., priorities, top focus dealer program (BluPrint), POP, dealer education, showroom materials, and market representation in key markets, etc.)
  • Work with YMU, assist in the creation and implementation of the P&A education plan to ensure dealers and Field Sales understand new products and programs. Work with National Dealer Network Strategy Manager to create sales tools/education materials, as needed, to assist them in hitting wholesale targets.
  • Co-develop and communicate Regional Marketing priorities, strategy and budgets and work with Field Sales to implement. Meet monthly with RMM’s and RPM’s to review progress. Have a clear understanding of field sales, the dealers, and end-consumer mindset. Attend regional meetings, visit key dealers, displays/demos and markets as necessary to gather consumer and dealer and dealer marketing insights.
  • Create presentations to communicate business situations to executive management and other internal staff.
  • Monitor large eCommerce focused dealer sales program orders. Keep in close contact with Supply Chani Management, YMC Global Parts Center and Field Sales.
Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze dealer and competitive market feedback.
  • Create, track and maintain P&A sales programs.
  • Manage wholesale and retail incentives budget.
  • Work with Marketing, Business Objects, and YDS to create tools for Field Sales and dealers.
  • Attend regional meetings and visit key dealerships.
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • High School Diploma required; BA/BS in Business related field desired.
  • 5+ years of Powersports industry experience required.
  • SAP and Business Objects experience desired.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Database, forecasting, production management and reporting experience desired.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking.
  • Ability to manage multiple, forecasting and strategic tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of a month.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
