Teaching AssistantProtocol Education are working with a SEN school in Swindon to appoint a committed, driven and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with secondary age students. You will be working with children with a range of SEN through their day to day school life.The SchoolAll children have special educational needs, with significant and complex barriers to learning, which include autism, sensory impairments, complex medical needs and physical disabilities. The broad and balanced curriculum is based on a pupil centred approach enabling every child to be included and encouraged, enjoy learning, make progress and achieve. This allows for opportunities to develop a depth of knowledge through teaching, consolidation and practice.Who are we Looking For?The school are looking for a candidate who;-Believes that every student, regardless of their background or need, can make outstanding progress
- Is rigorous, relentless, determined, creative, creative and inspirational in their style and presence as a leader
- Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons and CPD sessions
- Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the well being with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals and the local communityPrevious experience working with SEN, PMLD, SLD is preferred, however not essential. The school are more looking for people who show a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
