Processing invoices and credit notes, ensuring they have been suitably coded and authorised
Processing staff expense claims in accordance with the company expense policy
Uploading large invoices into the accounting system
Reconciling supplier accounts, checking for accuracy and debit items
Reviewing on-hold items for both goods and non-goods
Preparing and submitting monthly intrastat and VAT reports
Responding to queries from suppliers and colleagues
Collection and reconciliation of the various payment types accepted by the business
Ensuring cash is marked off accurately and investigations are carried out where appropriate
Please note this role is 40 hours per week.You'll fit right in if you have:
Experience working in a finance environment
Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable functions
A keen eye for detail
Strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook
Ability to build strong working relationships through a collaborative approach with others
