- Develop and maintain the company's compliance program, including policies, procedures, and controls, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines
- Conduct internal investigations into compliance breaches, misconduct, or suspected violations.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and control measures to minimize the company's exposure to compliance-related risks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (such as GL 21) while aligning with the Group risk management framework;
- Facilitate the risk owners to identify, assess, monitor, and manage risks (e.g. Insurance, Market, Credit, Operational and Regulatory Compliance)
- Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to identify and locate potential impact ofregulatory trends and developments and ensure that the company complies with the regulatory change
- Liaise and act as the first point of contact with the local regulators (e.g. Insurance Authority) and Group on compliance and risk management related matters
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Compliance, Risk management, business administrative , Law or related disciplines
- 8 years of prior experience in an insurance compliance role within General insurance industry
- solid understanding of relevant insurance regulations and regulatory bodies is necessary
- Firmilar with Hong Kong insurance regulatory framework and internal control principles
- Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing compliance risks is crucial.
- ability to analyze complex compliance issues, identify gaps or weaknesses, and propose effective solutions is vital
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
