Some of our big brands are Betty Crocker, Nature Valley & Haagen DazsOverview: Operational Excellence is one of the key factors of success of the Häagen-Dazs Shops business, consumer experience and brand building. Our Häagen-Dazs Shops are the show case of the brand and strongly support retail growth.Main focus area of the District Manager is the maximization of sales and trading performance across the allocated area and/or individual unit’s levels and the use and monitoring of operational standards within the units. In addition the District Manager is accountable for shops operations in compliance with HD success metrics.Summary of Key ResponsibilitiesAssist shops to maximize their profitability, always focusing on Häagen-Dazs Brand strategy and standards of quality, image and service.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the District Manager will be accountable for the following critical success factors:Act as liason between HDSI and franchisee and build strong relationship with franchisees based on candor and trustHelp franchisees achieve their annual plans by monitoring operations via identification of root cause operational issues, improvement opportunities and action planningDrive accountability of franchisees in their contractual obligations and compliance with HDSI standards and policies as well as General Mills Ethics.Leadership
  • Aid Franchisees in executing company approved, systematic training and development programs
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback for performance improvement; recognize and celebrate franchisee’s accomplishments and contributions
  • Encourage collaboration with franchisees in portfolio
  • Influence franchisees on value of the people development component of their business plan and provide guidance on organizational structure and succession planning
Execution
  • Ensure compliance with all company standards, operational procedures and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Analyze franchisee P&L and operations
  • Deliver consistent operating standards in accordance with the Häagen-Dazs Shop customer service (BCE) and environmental ( ESP) audits.
  • Maintain excellent collaboration relationship with Marketing, Logistics, HR, Development and Training departments respectively to ensure functional excellence within Shops in terms of effective marketing plans, accurate demand and delivery, and effective HR and training plans.
  • Support and collaborate with the Development Department / Training Department concerning new shop openings. To follow the approved New Shop Opening procedure
  • Regulary weekly shop visits amd monthly documented business reviews. Each shop visit is reported, documented and loaded into Sales Force ( Shop Visit reported loaded into Vault )
  • Ensure the implementation and use of tools such as: Leadership program, Essentials, Ambassador, Management Training Centre(MTC), my haagen, SBE Doc-Routing, Vault, Ebuy ordering tool, HD performance measurements actual BCE and Mystery Shopper, Operations manual, EPOS etc
Business Requirements
  • Solicit customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community
  • Analyze monthly sales, profit and budgetary results, and provides timely feedback, analysis and direction to restaurant management
  • Ensure execution and compliance with all security, food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards

  • Sound understanding of the finance, operational & employee management fundamentals of running a business.
  • Success in leading, motivating and influencing others.

  • Fluency in English
