SEND Ghana is seeking to recruit Deputy Country DirectorResponsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all SEND Ghana programs and projects
  • Support the Country Director in overall organisational management
  • Develop and review proposals to secure finding for programmes and projects
  • Supervise programme staff and ensure timely and high quality project delivery
  • Oversee programme monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance
  • Manage donor-relations and ensure compliance with donor guidelines
  • Coordinate research and advocacy activities
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to programme staff
  • Represent SEND Ghana during advocacy events and conferences
  • Foster strong partnerships with local organisations, communities and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to SEND Ghana policies and procedures, including financial management, human resources and safeguarding
Qualification Required & Experience
  • Minimum master's degree in the Humanities, social sciences, Economics or Business
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in program management and development work in Africa
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating teams
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation methodologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Experience in proposal development and donor relations
  • Fluency in English and a strong understanding of the Ghanaian context
  • Commitment to SEND Ghana's mission and values
  • Gender research experience and skills are important assets
  • Strong research background and advocacy experience are required
