Baxter is seeking a Microbiology Analyst with a scientific background to work in the Microbiology Laboratory within the Sterility Assurance department. The candidate will be required to show ability to learn, work in a team as well as at their own initiative, and act within the rules and practices required by the company. A Microbiology Analyst is responsible for conducting and coordinating Microbiological testing and related activities required in the Plant.The Microbiology Analyst will report to the QA Section Manager.Duties and Responsibilities· Aseptic technique and sampling· Bioburden testing (total microbial count) of water and medical devices· Spectrophotometric analysis· Environmental testing· Media preparation· Microbial culture preparation· Documentation compilation according to GMP requirements· Instrumentation operation· Stock management· Sterilisation related activities· Test method validations· Laboratory upkeepFull training will be provided. Position is fully onsite.Education & QualificationsEligible candidates must be fluent in English and possess a degree in Biology, Medical-Laboratory Science, or a science-related degree.
