OverviewElement has an opportunity for a new Finance Systems Analyst to join our growing team. In this role you will be a key member of the group finance team which supports the global finance community and the wider business from a financial & systems point of view.This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career as you join and strengthen a best-in-class, growing Group finance function.Responsibilities
  • Support the administration and development of the Group Planning & Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tool: Board and legacy system: Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Support the administration of integrations with interfacing systems e.g., Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and reporting solutions e.g. Excel add-ins, web reporting etc.
  • Supporting the Finance Systems Managers with the business-as-usual tasks: user administration, period maintenance, workflows, configuring month end timetables etc.
  • Helping to resolve user queries and assisting with training on finance systems where required.
  • Assistance in documenting procedures, tasks and solutions to issues.
  • Helping identifying process inefficiencies & implementing solutions.
  • Assisting with data reconciliations
Skills / Qualifications
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or some accountancy background
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Formulas), Knowledge of Power Query / VBA are beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of systems accounting is beneficial
  • Experience with a CPM tool: Board / HFM or any other is beneficial
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 for Finance & Operations would be advantageous
