Job DescriptionAs a technician-Mechanical, your primary duty is to conduct daily facility preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, air conditioner, refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment maintenance work, including window air conditioner, exhaust and supply fan, variable refrigerant volume system, energy management system, heating ventilation and air handling system, beverage equipment, and ice maker machine, exhaust system of kitchen, cold drink machine and refrigeration storage, and heat exchange system, chilling water and hot water system of heating ventilation and air handling, civil water and drainage system, plumbing and related mechanical maintenance and installation, water filters, and water feature system, water treatment, swimming pool and fire water system.   • Technical school or above on Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related major.
  • Have relevant electrical, mechanical and water system related professional knowledge, to meet the requirements of water supply and drainage system/machinery/kitchen equipment maintenance.
  • Special Operation Certificate (at least one of the Low Voltage Electrical Operator Certificate, Refrigeration Maintenance Certificate, or Welder Operation Certificate, depending on the type of work subdivided).Good manual working experience and skills.
  • Familiar with safety process and procedures about LOTO.
  • More than 5 years experiences in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical or kitchen maintenance or equivalent working experience in 5 stars hotel.
  • Available to work Sunday through Saturday, all shifts (i.e., 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) as deemed required by management.
  • Available to work on holidays.

  • Demonstrate a visible commitment to safety.
  • Ensure the safety, reliability and show quality of assigned assets.
  • Required to carry out routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and other maintenance work for all facilities. Need to be able to drag/pull/lift equipment and tools weighing less than 50 pounds at times, climb stairs and ladders and carry parts and tools. Able to work outdoors, indoors and in bad weather. Able to adapt to various scheduling requirements.
  • Required to deal with the daily maintenance tasks arranged by your superior, such as air conditioning equipment, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, including those facilities in guest rooms, meeting rooms, dining rooms, kitchen, logistics area, etc. Analyze the fault cause, troubleshoot and solve the problem in time.
  • Proficiently repair air conditioning units, fan coil units, fresh air conditioning units, kitchen equipment, etc., especially blockage and leakage of pipes, air conditioning faults that may cause ceiling damage in guest rooms. Can clean all kinds of air conditioning equipment filters.
  • Analyze and diagnose equipment operation and failure status and report to line manager to clearly state equipment operation and failure status and location.
  • You must manage the assigned workload using either the computer system or the Maximo system.
  • Able to safely and skillfully use hand tools as well as other special tools, including refrigeration meters, ammeter or clamp ammeter, vacuum pump, electric pen, flashlight, weighing scale and voltmeter. Pipes, vacuum cleaners and approved sprayers need to be moved. Must be able to identify faulty, damaged and unsafe tools and equipment and be trained in the use of company-provided tools.
  • You must co-operate with other colleagues or other professional staff to handle various maintenance tasks.
  • You must keep equipment, equipment rooms and workspaces clean and tidy.
  • You will also need to complete other tasks assigned by your supervisor
