Description :Finding the right fit:The Green Bay Municipal Group is seeking to hire a full-time Stormwater/Water Resources engineer. You’ll be working with a growing group and office on a diverse variety of stormwater and drainage projects. As a new employee, you won’t just work anonymously on a conveyor belt of projects. You’ll be rewarded with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional and personal growth within a supportive team.On any given day, you’ll:Assist the project manager in the design of stormwater and drainage engineering projects for public and private infrastructure.
Responsible for development of discipline specific engineering project elements/deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.
Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members.
Performs quality control reviews of discipline - specific engineering project elements/deliverables.
Gather and analyze data on municipal and commercial projects and prepare reports.Required Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a municipal or transportation emphasis.
  • Has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
  • A minimum of 2-10 years of related engineering experience.
  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Desired skills and experiences:
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering is a plus.
  • Ability to become a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin is beneficial.
  • Experience in the Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM, HY-8, StormCAD, modeling (water, sewer and stormwater), and willing to learn new software as needed for productive design methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
