Our work has a real impact on people’s lives, so we strive to do it well, with integrity and their future in mind.We’re currently looking for a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to join the organisation and provide support to the wider financial control team.This role will be responsible for the processing of financial transactions, reconciling key accounts in the month end close process and delivering related reporting to relevant internal and external stakeholders in line with agreed time frames. This position has variety in the workload, it will propose and implement efficiency and control improvement initiatives for finance processes, prepare and submit VAT and other tax returns and be involved with various projects when they arise.Our ideal candidate will have recent experience of working within a financial control environment, they will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Experience must be able to demonstrate reconciling and resolving differences on high volume financial reconciliations and the use of working on an ERP system for the month end close (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP). It is essential for the post holder to have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner.Sound like you?
