Senior IT Engineer – Cloud and IT Security – Hybrid WorkingA large, well established charity based in London (offering predominantly remote working) are looking for a Senior IT Engineer that is keen to develop their career within Cloud Technology and IT Security. As well as BAU you will also have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of Cloud and IT Security projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solid IT Engineer looking to take the next step in their career.Please note- this role is predominantly remote with occasional travel to their London office (once or twice per month).Working as part of the team you will work closed with the Service Desk team and the Lead Security Engineer to implement changes to systems for security requirements. This is a great opportunity to work and learn security standards , procedures & systems like Sentinel , Defender 365 & Defender for Endpoint.Key responsibilities will include:Providing an escalation point for the Service Desk; ensuring all infrastructure tickets are resolvedMicrosoft Intune ownership management ( All Windows, Mac & Ios Devices ) & AutopilotAzure VM Legacy Infrastructure & Azure Firewall ( Rules and Requests )Azure Services MonitoringEnsuring all VMS & Devices are patched and healthy.Managing Infections & Spam / phishing alerts & other alerts that Security Team may delegate to you to oversee.SharePoint Admin & Teams Admin responsibilityManaging Documentation and processes for Infrastructure & handing over documentation for Service Desk TeamActive Directory and Azure AD daily basis managementAzure AD Conditional policy managementSupporting the Security Team implementing changes in the systems towards security goals and standardsInvolvement in Power apps to assist Teams into AutomationTo be suitable for this Senior Engineer role you will have previous experience in a 3rd Line support capacity with some exposure to Cloud technologies. Office 365 certification or Azure certification is considered valuable, but not essential.
