REQ11029 Technician (HOTSOS) (Open)POSITION SUMMARY:
In accordance with the policies, procedures, and standards of Melco Resorts Leisure (Philippine) Corporation, the Technician (HOTSOS) shall effectively exercise and perform his/her duties in accordance with the directives and guidance of Lead Technician (HOTSOS) and/or Chief Engineer. Monitors schedule and activities concerning in-house and sub-contracted projects and preventive maintenance and ensures its completion.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complies with all Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures, and instructions properly and effectively and ensures that the same are disseminated and clearly understood.
2. Complies with existing HOTSOS monitoring activities and improves the same if deemed necessary and practical to make work more effective.
3. Keeps Lead Technician (HOTSOS) and/or Chief Engineer updated on all issues and concerns that affects Work Order operational activities.
4. Reports to Lead Technician (HOTSOS) and/or Chief Engineer issues and concerns that affects his / her abilities to perform and deliver timely results over assigned tasks in his / her area of responsibility.
5. Adheres to all safety, security and maintenance procedures and practices including reporting any unusual or suspicious incidents, hazards or people, complaints and missing or damaged items in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Ensures compliance to standards on staff grooming, appearance and conduct are properly maintained at all times.
7. Ensures that all hotel emergency policies and procedures are clearly understood to be able to handle emergency situations.
8. Performs all duties in a manner that is environmentally responsible. Practices waste reduction on supplies, paper and other materials, conserves water and electricity and recycle glass, cans and paper whenever possible.
9. Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to supervisors.
10. Helps in the preparation of timely reports in accordance with approved scope and format affecting his / her area of responsibility.
11. Suggests process improvements and activities related to HOTSOS (Work Order System) and other assigned tasks.
12. Performs other reasonable duties as may be assigned by his / her superior from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. Minimum of one (1) year work experience in staff position in Work Order / Work Control preferably in a hotel or entertainment industry.
2. Has some knowledge and familiarization in project and preventive maintenance monitoring works.
II. Education
Degree in Engineering preferable but not a requirement.
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
2. Good customer service orientation.
3. Good with follow-up and goal driven.
4. Good working knowledge of all MS Office applications particularly MS Excel,
PowerPoint, including Outlook.
5. Ability to make sound judgement to which he / she has jurisdiction even under pressure or time constraint.
