The CRM Clinical Specialist position requires a combination of clinical and technical expertise, communication skills, and project management capabilities to effectively promote products through customer education, implant support and clinical consultation. Day-to-day field implant support and education for all hospital sites within British Columbia with a specific focus on the lower mainland/downtown greater Vancouver Area.Please note that this is NOT a Full-Time position; the hours will vary based on business needs.Your responsibilities will include:
- Commercial Support: Under general direction, serve as primary resource for clinical support consisting of tackling a wide range of issues relating to troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
- Attend unit implants in the labs and operation rooms of hospital accounts and perform patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments and current items of interest in the industry.
- Providing initial and continuous training, education and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products and features under investigation, and procedures involving those products and features.
- Develop business relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts within hospital and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
- Respond to complex customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or collaborating with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
- Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives to meet with customers, such as physicians and physician office groups, to understand their clinical needs, goals, and constraints. Demonstrate how company products can help achieve these objectives.
- Provide timely updates on the outcomes of implant & patient clinic support, client meetings, including any feedback or action items. Ensure that relevant information is shared with the team to facilitate collaboration and alignment.
- Implant and patient support may be required outside regular weekly business hours.
- Education
- University degree or equivalent is preferred.
- BCIT Advanced Certificate in Cardiac Sciences Program with a focus on: Electrophysiology Technology (EP) and/or Cardiac Rhythm Device Technology (CRD) or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 5 years CRM experience, in particular supporting ICD, and Pacemaker implants.
- Track record outstanding clinical support that drives excellence in the field.
- Strong business acumen, strategic critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel throughout Western Canada but mainly throughout British Columbia.
- Candidate has a vehicle in which to travel to hospital sites within the lower mainland.
