- Working with the Head of Sales to develop the business plan to ensure successful market entry into NSW as both an Activity Provider in the local energy efficiency schemes and a premier provider of residential and commercial electrification and sustainability solutions;
- Develop marketing strategies to commercialise MAC products, services and solutions in terms of optimal price, terms and conditions;
- Build stakeholder relationships at the highest level in conjunction with the other MAC senior and executive managers;
- Develop customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Working with the Head of Development and Head of Sales to achieve the required accreditations to be a recognised Activity Provider;
- Working with the Head of Operations to establish a network of service providers and installation partners to enable the delivery of customer solutions;
- Working with the Head of Technical Design to stay abreast of the changing regulatory market, political landscape and resulting customer requirements to ensure the development of an innovative suite products, technologies and solutions;
- Working with the Head of Sales to identify and executive strategic sales contracts/partners and multisite opportunities.
- Leverage business partners to develop channels and implement programs of recurring benefit through the delivery of integrated products and solutions based upon renewable energy and 'whole- on-community' electrification;
- Working with the Head of Sales to develop lead generation initiatives that generate sales growth;
- Manage government, commercial partners and community stakeholder relationships where appropriate;
- Industry experience and understanding of issues relating to the electricity market (wholesale, retail or energy solutions), with renewables preferred.
- Experience in dealing with or working within trade-based organisations.
- Experience understanding complex problems and able to design innovative solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and possess strong commercial acumen.
- Curiosity, imagination, a sense of fun and a keenness to share your ideas and insights.
- Experience in researching and understanding energy-related policy, and the ability to engage effectively with both strategic and technical policy issues in order to translate them into business development opportunities
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with an ability to quickly analyse large amounts of information to produce succinct briefs, consultations and strategies.
- A sound understanding of the present economic, political, industrial, legal, social and cultural environments and their likely impact on business delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to effectively present in public.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with participants at all levels of the Australian energy industry
- A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in business or market development and customer relations.
- Experience in the energy or climate sector or demonstrated capability to rapidly develop new knowledge and expertise.
- Completed a tertiary qualification in business, sales & marketing, commerce, energy, environmental or equivalent studies including trade-based background.
