We are assisting our client in hiring a Head of Media. They will develop strategic, insight-led, creative media solutions that generate results for our agency’s clients.The Head of Media plays a vital role in bringing campaigns to life in unique, creative, and impactful ways and partners with clients and agency leadership to articulate a compelling vision and path to realization.Person should have a strong understanding of all channels, relevant emerging trends and technologies, and mapping measurement and reporting to client business outcomes.They will be part of the Client Services leadership team and responsible for:
  • Overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the agency
  • Partnering with the Executive Director of Client Services to establish and carry out departmental goals, policies, and procedures
  • Consult with other executives about the general operation of the agency
  • Identify areas to improve performance, policies and agency initiatives
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with clients and contribute to solving their business challenges
  • Oversee media planning, buying, and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Strategic Planning, Creative Technology, and Account Leadership teams
  • Lead the preparation, presentation, and sell-in of all media plans, recommendations, points-of-view, reports, and analytics
  • Supervise the execution of media plans, including direct oversight of media budgets, schedules of insertions, contracts, and supporting materials
  • Contribute to the agency’s business development program
  • Create thought leadership pieces and points of view
  • Manage and mentor direct reports and/or oversee freelance partners
  • Partner with the Account Leadership and Finance teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or related field required
  • 12+ years’ experience in an advertising agency, media buying agency or in-house client media department
  • Demonstrated experience running large engagements with large clients
  • Experience with various projects types, including upper- and lower-funnel strategies and tactics, including web, mobile, social media, video, brand, and strategic consulting.
