- Overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the agency
- Partnering with the Executive Director of Client Services to establish and carry out departmental goals, policies, and procedures
- Consult with other executives about the general operation of the agency
- Identify areas to improve performance, policies and agency initiatives
- Work directly with clients and contribute to solving their business challenges
- Oversee media planning, buying, and reporting
- Collaborate with the Creative, Strategic Planning, Creative Technology, and Account Leadership teams
- Lead the preparation, presentation, and sell-in of all media plans, recommendations, points-of-view, reports, and analytics
- Supervise the execution of media plans, including direct oversight of media budgets, schedules of insertions, contracts, and supporting materials
- Contribute to the agency’s business development program
- Create thought leadership pieces and points of view
- Manage and mentor direct reports and/or oversee freelance partners
- Partner with the Account Leadership and Finance teams
- Bachelor's degree in Communication or related field required
- 12+ years’ experience in an advertising agency, media buying agency or in-house client media department
- Demonstrated experience running large engagements with large clients
- Experience with various projects types, including upper- and lower-funnel strategies and tactics, including web, mobile, social media, video, brand, and strategic consulting.
