Working very closely with, and reporting to, the Managing Director, specific areas of responsibility will include: monthly consolidated accounts; budgeting and forecasting; group strategy; audit preparation; statutory reporting; cashflow management; banking relationships; overseeing payroll and management of four individuals. This is a very hands-on role - it requires a candidate who, whilst adept at the more strategic and technical accounting issues, is happy to process invoices, look after insurances and leases, work with suppliers and other areas of the group function.
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with a stable and progressive career to date. You will be detail driven, have strong IT and Excel skills and be used to being involved the day to day running of an SME organisation. The role will be mainly office based but after a qualifying period a level of hybrid working will apply.Paul Bosier
