With more than 33,000 employees, the company generated sales of CHF 11.2 billion in 2023.Job DescriptionThe Preston Site is a lower tier COMAH site and as such operates with the highest focus on health and safety ensuring all our teams work in accordance with the site expectations.We operate two production facilities specialising in chemical manufacturing and Polyurethanes working 24/7 5 days a week.The site is supported by a materials management team working with suppliers to ensure we maximise our efficiencies and supply chain of which your role will be instrumental in delivering the highest quality and service.Purpose of the RoleTo lead our materials management team to achieve site expectations around raw material and finished goods inventory, meeting our regulatory compliance. Leading the team in working with our production and quality control teams to achieve the optimised production plan to aid our warehouse to manage and despatch orders to meet customer expectations.The role is essential in supporting the wider local management team to drive our local strategy and supporting key focus areas with EHS.The Opportunity:To work alongside a dedicated site operations leadership team in achieving their overall objectives to deliver Safety First, Production Efficiency and Excellent Customer Experience.The Rewards:You will be rewarded with a competitive salary, and a sweep of great benefits.   • Commitment to delivering the highest levels of focus on Health and Safety (NEBOSH or IOSH qualification desirable)
  • Evidence of Strong Leadership Awareness and Experience of managing teams
  • A confident and Driven Leader you will work with your team to achieve your departmental objectives through time bound action plans / resource planning
  • Developing IT Solutions and Systems to support the overall site objectives
  • Able to demonstrate a focussed approach to action close out and successfully empower your teams to deliver targeted KPIs
