- Technical skills. Must fully observe the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and Jostens' HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures in all matters involving protected health information when working with the Jostens health plan.
- Leadership. Proven track record of managing organizational change, introducing new strategic initiatives and delivering effective human resource solutions
- Great communication and multi-task management skills.
- Experience. Minimum 10 years human resources management experience
- Education. Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent business experience.
- Preferred. MBA with human resources management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lead and manage the overall human resources function and services for designated plant facility, including payroll, staffing, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, employee recognition programs, health and safety, worker compensation, records administration, training and development, employment-related legal and regulatory compliance (including related reporting such as AAP), employee and labor relations and project support
- Oversee general communications for the plant and activities of the management team to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and processes
- Develop. Evaluate and help implement new procedures for maintaining harmony in the organization and establishing goals of a personnel nature to support production
- Advise. Provide proactive leadership and change management expertise in support of strategic business initiatives, projects and changes
- Strengthen. Identify and lead the implementation of local practices, policies and systems that will enable growth, improve operating performance, support organizational effectiveness and align with corporate direction. Ensure effective utilization of all location personnel; identify and evaluate capabilities and serve as lead in the deployment of resources to meet business needs

- Manage. Provide leadership and direction to Clarksville HR support staff (2 direct reports).
- Typical/Expected % Of Overnight Travel: 5% - 20%
