  • Oversee and coordinate comprehensive factory audits, encompassing social responsibility, supply chain security, and environmental standards. Analyze audit reports, track ESG performance metrics, and address related compliance factors.
  • Spearhead improvement initiatives, ensuring the effective implementation and follow-through of corrective actions across various departments to rectify issues and prevent recurrence. Offer guidance and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute thorough compliance checks and environmental assessments within production sites. Address any compliance discrepancies and integrate findings into the organizational compliance framework.
Stakeholder Engagement and Capacity Building
  • Maintain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to elevate the customer service experience and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Provide expert compliance consultation to internal teams and external partners, clarifying and enforcing compliance standards.
  • Facilitate educational programs for suppliers and factories to foster autonomy in compliance monitoring, emphasizing adherence to established standards and regulations.
  • Address and resolve compliance-related inquiries and issues, offering strategic advice to ensure alignment with customer and company standards.
  • Develop and execute a localized training program in compliance, collaborating with global and local teams to keep internal stakeholders updated on regulatory changes and compliance practices.
Regulatory Compliance and Standards Management
  • Gather and disseminate information on international trade regulations, labor laws, occupational health and safety standards, and social responsibility regulations. Keep the compliance team informed of updates and changes to standards and expectations.
  • Communicate critical compliance information to suppliers, internal teams, and external clients to ensure uniform understanding and implementation of compliance requirements.
  • Monitor local and international regulatory developments in collaboration with subject matter experts and compliance teams, ensuring that practices are adjusted to meet evolving legal requirements.
Compliance Program Oversight
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of the organization's compliance framework under the guidance of the head of compliance.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of the annual compliance agenda in sync with global compliance initiatives, ensuring effective integration and operational excellence.
  • Manage local compliance teams, fostering quality service delivery, efficient operations, and cohesion within the team.
  • Oversee compliance reporting, synthesizing data from diverse sources to provide actionable insights for management.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of compliance policies and processes, collaborating with business unit leaders to embed effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate the rollout and monitoring of customer-driven compliance programs with factories and suppliers to ensure comprehensive implementation and completion.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field is required;
  • Have minimum 7 years of experience within in a similar role, with preference given to candidates knowledgeable about social compliance or auditing preferably from buying/trading office or manufacturing industry of garment/ apparel or auditing firm;
  • Proficiency in English communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS Offices.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments, with a results-oriented approach, exceptional communication abilities, self-motivation, a responsive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Skilled in fostering strong team relationships, demonstrating leadership, and effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Prior experience working with third-party services is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in implementing policies, conducting survey benchmarking, performing analytical tasks, and managing vendor compliance;
  • Based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.
