Who We Are:(CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.Description:The post holder will provide a comprehensive speech and language therapy service to patients and their families who are referred to the department within CHI.Essential Criteria:
Bachelor of Science in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from the University of Dublin or an equivalent qualification. Professional qualifications obtained outside the Republic of Ireland, including the U.K., must go through the Recognition process as outlined by CORU (
) prior to commencement of the contract. * Registered with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist ( ). Please state your CORU registration number on your CV. * Membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT).
Have a minimum of three years satisfactory post qualification experience working with children with complex medical needs.
Fully competent in paediatric dysphagia assessment and management.
