- Comfort with virtual convening’s and building of relationships online.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, virtual technology, and other online data entry tools. Presentation, facilitation, and/or training experience is preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Relevant lived experience navigating systems of care on behlaf of child/youth with behavioral concerns (Mental/Behavioral Health, Child Welfare, or Juvenile Justice) and the ability to share those relevant experiences parents, family members or other family members for the benefit and healing of others.
- A minimum of one (1) year in the role of a Family Peer Support Specialist or relevant experience working with parents/caregivers who are involved in raising children/youth with behavioral concerns..
- Certification will occur during the course of employment
- Travel time is approximately 50 percent.
- The position will allow for a remote workplace. The position requires flexible hours including travel which will require overnight stays and local state travel.
