Boys and Girls Club Program Aide (seasonal/temporary)May 15, 2024Location: PMC- CMAC- Middle River Boys and Girls ClubPosition Type: part-time (20 hours/week), non-exemptPay Range: $15.00/hourDate Range: from June 24, 2024 – August 16, 2024The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a part time temporary/seasonal Boys & Girls Club Program Aide in Middle River, Maryland under the Central Maryland Area Command, Potomac Division.Key responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
  • Planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating activities provided within a specific program area;
  • Supporting our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Citizenship
Additional Responsibilities
  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled in-service training sessions
  • Prepares and serves children snacks and meals (when appropriate)
  • May oversee special programs and/or events (i.e. Keystone, Torch Club, Youth of the Year and Awards Programs), and/or participate in the implementation of other unit activities as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What we are looking for in you:Education and Experience:High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred, AND commitment to actively participate in a Professional Development Plan.Must enjoy working with children,must possess good communication skills,Must possess an outgoing personality,Must speak/write English fluentlyLicenses and CertificationsFirst Aid and C.P.R.
