ABOUT THE ROLEAs an HR Administrator, you will play an integral role providing essential administrative support to a busy HR and recruitment team, plus helping to support more than 1000 employees and Partners across the Firm and its subsidiary company.You will be the first point of contact for all employees, managers and new starters to help resolve HR related issues and queries. The role will require you to cover a wide spectrum of HR topics overseeing the entire employment life cycle.This will include managing the new starter process, creating and distributing employment contracts, monitoring probationary periods, assist with maternity/adoption/paternity and sickness pay, processing leavers, and accurately calculating any employee deductions.This is an exciting role for someone wanting to gain more experience and knowledge in wider HR activities; from ensuring all processes and procedures are up to date, assisting the HR advisors in minute taking and to facilitate quarterly flexible working meetings with the board; there is a real opportunity to grow within the role.WHAT MATTERS MOST IN THIS ROLEThis is a fast-paced role where exceptional communication, team collaboration and organisation is paramount.You should exercise a high level of attention to detail especially when creating formal documentation and contractual changes. In addition to this, you will also help lead the annual holiday carry over administration and deliver accurate correspondence relating to salary reviews and staff promotions.Your aptitude to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders is essential in this role. As well as your ability to deliver detailed, clear and accurate information which s crucial.We are looking for someone to take ownership of their work and is passionate about delivering high quality information and service.Other duties will include:
  • Complete pre-employment screening for all new joiners; obtaining references and proof of right to work documentation
  • Assist with the transfer of staff in to and out of Workman Facilities Management Limited under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE); reviewing and collating contractual documentation, collating measures and liaising with incoming/outgoing employers to ensure the smooth transition of employment
  • Assist in the production of documentation including reports, agendas and presentations to a high standard
  • Verify employee’s right to work status and conduct rechecks where required.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOUAny previous experience using Cascade or an alternative HRIS is beneficial, as you will need to update and maintain the HR database, including inputting new joiner information and updating information upon promotion, salary review and changes to T&C’sWe are looking for someone who has relevant experience in a similar HR support role and is familiar with providing guidance on HR processes and procedures.You will be handling lots sensitive data and information, so discretion is a strict requirement.A proactive work ethic and professional commination is expected.Someone who demonstrates a willingness to go the extra mile to provide the necessary support and complete tasks to highest quality.
