- Work with the Head of Propositions and wider Product & Propositions team to further develop and implement an appropriate and ‘always on’ propositions and innovation discovery process
- Research, source and analyze internal and external data to identify the next potential topics, themes and sources of propositions and innovation to work upon
- Devise and adapt a methodology to perform rapid ideation and high level assessments to ensure ideas are progressed rapidly through early stage gates, or work ceases on those unlikely to drive a positive outcome
- Assist Proposition and Product Managers to make the case for progressing ideas, including to test / PoC, scaling and full delivery
- Where appropriate, assist with project management of test and learns, including sourcing partners and clients, setting out PoC parameters and hypothesis etc and post test, creating the recommendations to stop / adapt and test again / mindfully scale / deliver the full solution
- High levels of natural curiosity for the art of the possible for Darwin, matched with a logic for what to consider next
- Experience and high confidence of sourcing and using market, customer and commercial insight and data to build rationale for what Darwin should consider exploring next
- Experience of devising and using ideation and innovation techniques, appropriate to the topic or area being ideated upon
- High comfort facilitating potentially senior level stakeholders through unfamiliar topics and processes, and different tactics to draw out and develop ideas, including expansive and reductive methods
- Experience of strategy development and classic strategy models preferable
